Atlantis Eyecare is fortunate to have Dr. Donald R. Teshima among the professional team servicing Anaheim and other Orange County locations. His four decades of experience as a practicing Optometrist is invaluable in treating a wide range of eye care issues in patients of all ages.
Dr. Teshima has been in private practice since 1975. He joined his father in his busy Optometry practice after graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry. During this time he also became an Assistant Professor at the Illinois College of Optometry and was later named Associate Director of Clinics in 1982.
Dr. Teshima joined the FHP Health Maintenance Organization in 1987 after being recruited by A.J. Marchin, O.D. This organization later became Talbert Medical Group later going on to form Atlantis Eyecare. Dr. Teshima remains a keystone of the professional team that sets Atlantis Eyecare apart from all others.
When not providing top tier eye care to his patients, Dr. Teshima enjoys spending time with his wife of 20 years and their three children as well as watching his favorite sports teams.

She knew exactly what frames would be best for us and her measurements were so exact we didn't need any adjustments when we picked-up our new glasses. We also received a prompt phone call when they arrived and told us when we could pick them up. We have not received that type of service at your other locations.

I received a call from a patient that wanted to share her and her husband’s overall experience at our Huntington Beach office.
